Library of Congress 6/11/25

Went to The Library of Congress in Washington DC on Wed 6/11/25 to receive book donations from their Surplus Books Program. Got 162 books that support our diverse book initiatives and loads of graphic novels which are in high demand at our events. This was one of the coolest experiences I've ever had!!! We also got loads of colorful and educational posters that we can use at the events too. Thank you, Joseph and staff at LoC, look forward to seeing you all again soon. Thank you VCU Center on Health Advancement team (Alisa Brewer) for helping with the application and all the amazing work you folks do; your connections have been paramount to our operations! This would not have been possible without your support and continued love from our donors and community members. Feeling grateful!
